It can be quite an investment to aim for fitting all 3 without extra umbra forma (if at all possible for most builds), so you should look at your capacity with the umbral mods you will be using before using umbra forma to make sure you don't force yourself to use an incomplete build to be able to use the umbral forma. umbra forma isnt just about being strongest, they add a resistance to sentient damage too.which seeing as were likely to be seeing more sentient enemies in the future makes sense to have on at least our favourite frames if possible. I wouldn't say my MOA is even close to invulnerable and if it's an especially nasty mission like a hard sortie or arbitration I'll likely bench it. Umbra forma is rare, yes, but. My MOA has a bleedout time of around 2:40, so I can literally start a mobile defense segment, finish it, and still have time to run back and revive it. a bit niche, kinda useless on most melees, though can be nice on frames since some builds want different aura polaritys. Its very rare to actually make an optimized build that needs multiple umbra forma. Excalibur Umbra is the only quest Warframe that cannot be purchased from the Market or be sold. They use Kubrow stat mods, so you want to focus on the "Link" mods (Link Life, Link Armor, etc) as well as things like Pack Leader, Medi-Pet Kit, and for the times they go down, things like Faithful Companion. they allow you to use any polarity stance/aura and still get the double capacity benefit, basically 'super formaing' the slot. With a single umbra forma, you can have 2 more unpolarized umbra mods and still have enough capacity to have 6-7 average drain in every other mod slot, which is usually just formaing a couple other slots. Excalibur Umbra is the first Umbra variant of a Warframe to be released in WARFRAME. To be honest I havent put all survival mods on them since after levelling the 3 ones I feel they are soo much more fragile than the rest so I havent even bothered formaed them (I run only with a couple of survival mods basically).īut for me they die constantly and do no good whatsoever (even though I like tractor beam :-)) ![]()
